Clover Seed has decades of experience helping overseas company produce their seed under contract in China. Our facility is based in Jiuquan, Gansu. Jiuquan is one of the leading seed production regions in China and we have been here every step of the way.

Jiuquan has a dry climate with plenty of sunshine, strong radiation, and big difference in diurnal (day/night) temperatures. Melting snow from the mountains and underground water help keep the irrigation water clean. The very dry summer offers ideal and reliable conditions for producing high quality seed.

Average farm size in Jiuquan is less than one acre, meaning that we can find a wide range of different field sizes to accommodate orders of any size. And growers here have decades of experience with delicate hand pollination and other advanced seed production techniques.

Our post harvest processing is all carried out by our well-trained technicians and specialized equipment. We follow ISTA protocols for our germination and purity testing. Our team is extremely capable to handle chemical cleaning for disease control like BFB (bacterial fruit blotch).

We constantly keep track of the latest developments in seed machinery and technology to make sure we can provide customers with the best service available. Since we have begun seed production in Gansu, our techniques and expertise have increased the average usable yield of F1 Squash by 300%.

Almost all crops can be grown in Jiuquan - please let us know what we can help with!
